Hallo, Ihr Lieben,
vor einigen Wochen habe ich mich endlich mal meinem Layout Stapel gewidmet, der sich bei mir im Schrank türmte. Mittlerweile drohte er beim Öffnen des Schranks schon herauszufallen! Gestört hat mich das schon lange, aber ich hatte nie wirklich Lust darauf, die Layouts einzusortieren.
Nun war aber meine Schmerzgrenze erreicht und los ging es. Ich habe die Layouts in Kategorien (ich habe Alben für Urlaube, Alltag, Familie und ‚alles über mich‘) aufgeteilt und wollte sie abheften. Habe mich dann aber dazu entschieden auch den kunterbunt zusammen gewürfelten Albenrücken an den Kragen zu gehen. Ich mag bunte Farben, versteht mich nicht falsch, aber wenn ich nochmal anfangen würde, würde ich wahrscheinlich nur schwarze Alben kaufen. Da ich nun aber die bunten habe, habe ich sie einfach farblich sortiert ins Regal gestellt (ich weiß, ist schon etwas komisch) und dann alle Layouts umsortiert, denn diese wollte ich in der ursprünglichen Reihenfolge behalten.
Während des Prozesses habe ich auch Layouts aussortiert, die mir nicht mehr gefallen haben. Wenn ich sie neu machen wollte, weil mir das Foto gefiel oder ich das Layout wegen des Journalings behalten wollte, habe ich sie beiseite gelegt, Die Anderen habe ich weggeworfen. Ich weiß, einige von Euch könnten sich das nicht vorstellen, aber ich bin ganz gut im ausmisten und fühle mich nachher immer super.
Hier sind vier vorher/nachher Layouts mit Anmerkung, was mir nicht gefallen hat (Fotos wie immer am Ende des Posts)
Layout 1, Eislaufen
Hier haben mir vor allen Dingen die Fotos nicht gefallen, sie waren sehr dunkel und hatten einen Farbstich. Aber auch die Papiere waren mir in der Kombination zu unruhig. Das neue Layout finde ich viel harmonischer und mit den schwarz-weiß Fotos gefällt es mir richtig gut.
Layout 2, New York
Hier hat mir der Text auf dem Layout und auch unter dem Layout nicht gefallen. Es wirkt alles zusammengewürfelt und unruhig. Das gemusterte Papier hinter dem Foto macht das Ganze nicht besser.
Layout 3, Central Parc
Bei diesem Layout gefiel mir das Hintergrundpapier überhaupt nicht. Auf weiß hätte es sicher viel besser ausgesehen. Da ich aber unbedingt das Papier mit dem tollen Herzhintergrund verwenden wollte, habe ich bei diesem Layout auch das Design verändert und bin mmer noch nicht wirklich zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis.
Layout 4, New York 2
Hier gefiel mir das pinke Papier und auch das Papier hinter dem Foto nicht, außerdem waren mir die Buchstabensticker zu verspielt. Außerdem habe ich den Titel beim neuen Layout direkt ‚auf den Horizont geklebt‘ und so noch Platz für ein Embellishment-Cluster oben auf dem Layout gehabt. Das Journaling ist hinter der Karte rechts neben dem Foto versteckt.
Ich hoffe, ich habe euch ein wenig inspiriert. Wenn ihr noch fragen dazu habt, wie ich meine Layouts sortiere, laßt es mich in den Kommentaren wissen. Außerdem würde mich interessieren wie ihr Eure Layouts aufbewahrt.

a few weeks ago I finally devoted myself to my layout stack, which piled up in my closet. It tended to fall out when opening the cabinet already! It bothered me since a long time, but I never really was in the mood to get those layouts into my albums.
But now I reached my pain barrier and off I went. I sorted the layouts into categories (I have albums for holidays, everyday life, family and some where I put in layouts about myself) and wanted to file them. But then I decided to do something about the multicolored album spines. I like bright colors, don’t get me wrong, but if I started again I would probably only buy black albums. But as I have the colorful ones, I just put them in a different order on the shelf which I like better (I know, it’s a bit strange) and then rearranged all the layouts, because I wanted to keep them in the original order.
During the process, I sorted out layouts that I didn’t like anymore. When I wanted to redo it because I liked the photo or I wanted to keep the layout because of the journaling, I put it aside. I threw the others away. I know some of you could not imagine that, but I’m pretty good at sorting things out and I always feel great afterwards.
Here are four before / after layouts with notes, which I didn’t like anymore (photos as always at the end of the post).
Layout 1, Ice Skating
Above all, I didn’t like the photos, they were very dark and had a color cast. But I also thought that all the patterns were a little too busy. The new layout is much more balanced and I really love the black and white photos.
Layout 2, New York
I didn’t like the alphas on the photo and also underneath the picture, it looks raggle-taggle and unbalanced. The patterned paper behind my picture makes it even worse.
Layout 3, Central Parc
I didn’t like the background paper at all and because I wanted to use the paper with the great heart I changed the design of this layout completely. I’m not 100% happy with the result though.
Layout 4, New York 2
I didn’t like the pinkish background paper and the paper behind my picture. Also I thought the alpha stickers were too playful. I also placed the title directly ‚on the horizon‘ so I had room for an embellishment cluster on top of the page. My journaling is hidden behind the card on right of the picture.
