Hallo, Ihr Lieben,
nach einer zweimonatigen Sommerpause melde ich mich mit einem Herbstlayout zurück.
Wer mich kennt weiß, dass der Herbst meine Lieblingsjahreszeit ist. Ich mag die kühle, klare Luft, den Nebel am Morgen, das bunte Herbstlaub, das wundervolle Licht und und und… Im Herbst mache ich auch immer die meisten Fotos und so habe ich viel Material zum Verscrappen.
Als ich das Papier mit all den bunten Blättern von Paige’s neuer Kollektion gesehen habe, wollte ich sie sofort alle ausschneiden und für ein Layout benutzen. Wie es der Zufall will, habe ich ungefähr zeitgleich ein Video von Paige gesehen, in welchem sie ein Tutorial für die pixScan Matte der Silhouette Cameo erstellt hat. Das habe ich zum Anlass genommen meine Schneidemaschine mal wieder zu benutzen und die Funktion zu testen. Ich bin total begeistert wie toll es funktioniert hat und es war definitiv weniger Arbeit, als alles von Hand auszuschneiden.
Ich habe die Blätter nach Farben sortiert und ganz willkürlich oben auf meiner Seite verteilt und festgeklebt. Mein Foto habe ich als Kreis ausgestanzt und rechts oben in der Ecke mit Moosgummi auf den Blättern befestigt. Einen ‚Laubhaufen‘ habe ich unter dem Foto unten auf der Seite platziert und einige Blätter ‚fallen‘ vom Foto auf den unteren Teil der Seite. Zusätzlich habe ich ein paar Embellishments jeweils Ton in Ton auf die Blätter geklebt (einige mit 3D Kleber), den Titel auf dem Foto befestigt und zum Schluß noch ein paar Farbkleckse aufgebracht und Journaling-Streifen platziert.
Ich mag es sehr, wie das Layout geworden ist! Das Papier ist auch so richtig meins, Blätter in allen Farben des Regenbogens, besser geht es ja gar nicht. Ich hoffe, ich habe euch mit meiner Seite ein wenig inspiriert, auch wenn ihr keine Schneidemaschine habt. Man könnte das Ganze auch mit anderen Formen (Kreisen, Sterne, Herzen, was ihr als Stanzen habt oder von Hand schneiden könnt) und farbigem Cardstock gestalten, Hauptsache ihr benutzt möglichst viele bunte Farben! I’m back with an autumn layout after a two-month summer break.
When you know me you know that autumn is my favorite season. I love the cool, fresh air, foggy mornings, the colorful autumn leaves, the magical light and so on … I also take most of my photos in autumn and so I have a lot of material for my layouts.
When I first saw the paper with all the colorful leaves of Paige’s latest collection, I immediately wanted to cut them all out and use them for a layout. As luck would have it, I saw one of Paige’s videos about the same time in which she did a tutorial for the pixScan Mat of the Silhouette Cameo. I have taken this as an opportunity to use my cutting machine again and to try out this function. I’m thrilled with how great it worked and it was definitely less work than cutting all the leaves out by hand.
For my layout I sorted the leaves by color and put them randomly on the top of my page. I punched out my picture as a circle and fixed it with foam rubber onto the leaves in the upper right corner of my layout. I placed a ‚pile of leaves‘ under the photo at the bottom of the page and some leaves ‚fall‘ from the photo to the bottom of the page. In addition, I added a few embelishments to the leaves tone in tone, attached the title to the photo, added a few splashes of paint to finish the layout off and placed journaling strips onto the page.
I really like how the layout turned out! The paper is totally mine, leaves in all colors of the rainbow, it couldn’t be any better! I hope I have inspired you a little with my page, even if you do not have a cutting machine. You could also do the same technique with other shapes (circles, stars, hearts, what you can punch or cut by hand) and colored cardstock, just use use as many bright colors as you can!
